Gemma Hayes was born August 11, 1977 in Ireland. She is an Irish singer-songwriter as well as a member of “The Cake Sale”. I came across a song from “The Cake Sale” a few years back, and fell in love with her voice and her indie-folk rock style . She has a very soothing voice, with covers like “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak and duets with Magnet on the Bob Dylan song, “Lay Lady Lay”. Here is the song, “Out of Our Hands”.
